Elizabeth - SkatePark (Holland Playfield)

Address - Praise the Lord Plaza, Elizabeth, NJ 07201
(Holland Playfield, Elizabeth, NJ 07201)

Description - This park is easily one of the best to be found in NJ.  Its a fairly new, plaza style park with a lot of flow and creative obstacles.  The hubba ledges and hand rail are below average height and easy for beginner street skaters to learn on.

Ringwood - SkatePark

Address - 18 Boro Pkwy, Ringwood, NJ 07456

Description - If you turn into the Ringwood municipal building's parking lot, you will see a small road that leads to a football field, then a tennis court and after that you got the skate park.  Another simple park with metal ramps, asphalt pavement and nothing too exciting.  The manual pad with a high ledge is slightly unique and probably my favorite thing to skate.

West Milford - SkatePark

Address - 10 Tyler Pl, Hewitt, NJ 07421

Description - Right next to Clinton rd, the most haunted road in America, is a nice little skate park with concrete obstacles.  It is definitely a refreshing park when you are used to the typical, metal ramp parks of New Jersey.  The pole jam and C-ledge are usually rare to find in a park around here and yet it has two C-ledges! (one with a slight curve and one with a drastic curve).

Randolph - SkatePark

Address - Bungalow Ln, Randolph, NJ 07869

Description - Another classic New Jersey style skate park (I don't mean that in a good way) Basic metal ramps on top of asphalt pavement.  The ground is only slightly rough, but will crack more with every winter. The mini-ramp is a nice mild height of about 3 feet and has a very forgiving coping that you most likely wont hang up on. This makes it perfect for learning how to skate your first ramp.

Hopatcong - SkatePark

Address - 47 Hopatchung Rd, Hopatcong, NJ 07843

Description -  This park is tough to spot from the street. It is located behind the shopping center on the corner of Hopatchung Rd and Sharp Ave, next to the roller hockey rink. Helmets are typically not required, however it is a good idea to have one with you in case the police roll by. This park is known to be a "hang out" spot for the local Hopatcong kids that do not skate, bike or even inline. This becomes annoying because they will sit on the ledges, smoke pot, get into fights and attract the cops. All around the park is decent for skatelite on pavement.
